Define inclusive lower cutoffs
Each band starts at its minimum percentage and continues up to, but not including, the next higher band. A band starting at 90% includes exactly 90%. The lowest band must start at 0%, and each threshold and label must be unique.

Rounding is a separate policy
A displayed 90.00% can come from an unrounded score below 90%. By default, the letter grade uses the unrounded percentage. If your course rounds before assigning grades, enable that option explicitly. Imported scales are opened for review before you save them.
The A–F and pass/fail examples are starting points. They are not official scales for a country, school or course. Copy the thresholds in the policy that actually applies to your assessment.
