Build a rubric around the evidence
Start from an editable essay, presentation or project example, or a blank rubric. Give each criterion a name, maximum points and optional achievement levels with descriptions. Points totals and weighted criteria
In points mode, 3/4 for one criterion and 2/6 for another produce 5/10, or 50%. With those same criteria weighted equally, the result would be (75% + 33.333…%) ÷ 2 = 54.166…%. Choose the method before using the rubric and communicate it to learners.
